Defining Well-being:

Our framework, inspired by The Education Staff Well-being Charter, considers well-being as a comprehensive measure of "how we are doing." This definition extends beyond traditional boundaries, embracing physical and mental health, as well as the quality of social relationships. It is a commitment to nurturing a state of total health that empowers individuals to thrive personally and professionally.

Levels of Well-being:

Recognizing the multi-faceted nature of well-being, our framework addresses it at different levels: Individual Well-being: Focused on fostering a sense of feeling good and functioning well for each staff member. School Well-being: Dedicated to creating a collective sense of wellness within our school community, emphasizing shared support and solidarity.

Mitigating Emotional Health Impacts:

Our framework is strategically tailored to address the emotional health impacts of the contemporary social landscape on our educators. In an era where the demands on educational professionals are higher than ever, we prioritize the emotional resilience and support necessary for our staff to navigate these challenges successfully.

This initiative made possible by funding provided by the CDC Foundation. The formative research for the How Right Now Campaign was lead by NORC University of Chicago, Lead Researcher: Amelia Burke-Garcia..
